The Concept: A Multisensory Experience

Welcome to Live at Our Place, a monthly series that transforms live music into an experience you can both hear and taste.

This isn't just another concert, and it isn't just another dinner—it’s an intimate encounter between sound and flavor. For every session, food takes center stage as a narrative tool, translating the identity, roots, and atmospheric nuances of the performing artists straight onto your palate.

The Chef’s Touch: Sound & Flavor

As a visual artist and plant-based chef, my role is to bridge the gap between listening and tasting. I dive deep into the music and personal stories of each artist performing at Treehouse NDSM to translate their world into unique culinary concepts.

Every concert is paired with two exclusive bites (one savory, one sweet) created specifically for the night—using ingredients, textures, and flavor profiles designed to resonate with the soundscapes on stage.

Tonight's Lineup & Menu

🎷 1. Kasper Rietkerk

Modern Jazz & Atmospheric Soundscapes

The Pairing: The Island Slider

The Concept: A nod to London’s iconic street food culture and the classic fish sandwiches of UK jazz clubs—a tribute to the city that plays a central role in Kasper’s career. The ocean-inspired nori crust paired with the softness of the bun mirrors the balance of rich structure and effortless space found in his album The Island.

The Bite: Oven-baked tofu fillet wrapped in crispy seaweed nori, served in a pillowy brioche bun with house-made dill-and-lemon tartar sauce and fresh mixed greens.

🎸 2. IRT – Inti Trio

Acoustic Jazz & Chilean Improvisation

The Pairing: El Maní Acústico

The Concept: Inspired by Inti’s roots in Santiago, Chile, this verrine celebrates maní confitado—the aromatic roasted peanuts sold on the streets of the capital. The layered creation mirrors the warm, organic textures of an acoustic trio, blending earthy crunch with rich, improvisational tones.

The Bite: A glass verrine featuring a crunchy base of crushed oats and toasted walnuts, layered with smooth plant-based milk cream, dusted with raw cacao, and topped with a light, salted peanut foam.
